Proton-sensing receptor GPR132 facilitates migration of astrocytes

چکیده

Astrocytes are one of the first responders to central nervous system (CNS) injuries such as spinal cord injury (SCI). They thought repress injury-induced CNS inflammation well inhibit axonal regeneration. While reactive astrocytes migrate and accumulate around lesion core, mechanism astrocyte migration towards site remains unclear. Here, we examined possible involvement acidification expression proton-sensing receptors in migration, both mice models vitro. We found that several was increased at after SCI. Among these receptors, Gpr132 expressed primary cultured exhibited significant enhanced acidic conditions Furthermore, motility media by activation. These results suggest facilitates via receptor Gpr132.

study bird’s migration by using remote sensing and Geographic Information System. (case study of bird’s migration in the alikhan wetland)

of this Research is the study and evaluation of the relationship between vegetation area and water area with the number of birds in Band-e-Alikhan wetland between 2011 and 2015. Due to the importance of Band-e-Alikhan wetland as a seasonal wetland with fresh water, which is located 35 km south of Varamin city, it has been used as a study area. In the present study, first, the necessary pre-proc...

Calcium-sensing receptor modulates cell adhesion and migration via integrins.

The calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) is a family C G protein-coupled receptor that is activated by elevated levels of extracellular divalent cations. The CaSR couples to members of the G(q) family of G proteins, and in the endocrine system this receptor is instrumental in regulating the release of parathyroid hormone from the parathyroid gland and calcitonin from thyroid cells. Here, we demonstr...

Gpr132 sensing of lactate mediates tumor-macrophage interplay to promote breast cancer metastasis.

Macrophages are prominent immune cells in the tumor microenvironment that exert potent effects on cancer metastasis. However, the signals and receivers for the tumor-macrophage communication remain enigmatic. Here, we show that G protein-coupled receptor 132 (Gpr132) functions as a key macrophage sensor of the rising lactate in the acidic tumor milieu to mediate the reciprocal interaction betwe...

Regulation of secretion of PTHrP by Ca(2+)-sensing receptor in human astrocytes, astrocytomas, and meningiomas.

Parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) is the major mediator of the humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy and of malignant osteolysis associated with skeletal metastases of common epithelial cancers. PTHrP secretion is regulated by the extracellular calcium concentration ([Ca(2+)](o)) in several types of normal and malignant cells. Because the [Ca(2+)](o)-sensing receptor (CaR) is a key medi...
